Beezel’s paws had barely dried from his last adventure, and already the road had more surprises waiting.

This chapter begins with a song, a mysterious ring, and a mouse-sized brush with metal mayhem.

But don’t worry. Luna is nearby. And Archibald—well… he’s somewhere above.

The Great Road always moves forward. And today, it moves fast.

Chapter 2

A lost ring, Rickety Wheels, and Metallic Monster Mayhem

The morning sun had chased away the last of the chill and mist that had tried to cling to the air. The forest was fully awake now; alive, ready. The scene perfectly matched Beezel’s mood

He whistled as the trio made their way along an old forest path; his and Luna’s staves and footsteps, keeping rhythm as they went along.

Clomp, thud, whistle, clomp clomp, whistle, clomp, thud. His mood was so infectious, Luna had begun humming in step with him as if finalizing it into their joint marching song.

“If the two of you do not stop your infernal squawking, I am going to go find another pair of foolish, pig headed, rather pungent, mice to render my services to,” Archibald snapped, finally having all he could take of joy, “The two of you are giving me a headache and I am trying to sleep.”
