I really appreciate the way you turn a moment of uncertainty into an opportunity for gentle self-understanding. Your reflection on mistakes, real or imagined, reminds me how much perspective shapes our experience. Thank you for sharing this honest look at learning to trust yourself.
Thank you, Sunshine, I really appreciate that. It means a lot that you felt that thread of self-understanding in it. So much of it really does come down to perspective, and learning to trust ourselves in those uncertain moments. I’m glad it resonated with you.
Thank you, Lilitu, I really appreciate that. I think you’re exactly right, emotions can feel inconvenient at times, but they’re often pointing to something we haven’t fully seen yet. Not always easy to sit with, but often worth the understanding.
…Dear Guy,, this essay was was so very, very good! You obviously have been carrying this idea around with you for some time.. and you put to “ paper” in a perfect form.. thank you for these few minutes of thoughtfulness.🤌🥰
Thank you so much, Marty, that truly means a lot. You’re right, this one has been sitting with me for a while, just waiting for the right moment to take shape. I’m really glad it found a place with you for a few minutes.
Thank you, Tim, I’m glad it resonated. There’s something quietly hopeful in the idea that not everything out of place is a problem to fix. Sometimes it’s just something we haven’t learned how to see yet.
I try, not always very successfully, to do that in my life. I have sure found over the years that I limit myself severely when I try to make everything fit with my current conceptions. At this point, I could truly say I'm not really sure what is true.
There’s a lot of humility in that, Tim, and I think it matters. The moment we loosen our grip on needing things to fit our current understanding, we create space for something deeper to emerge. Not always comfortable, but often more real.

Lovely read! 💛
"Maybe some things arrive uninvited… not to be removed, but to be understood."
I feel this way about emotions. Annoyingly present and in need of much understanding.
Thanks for sharing!
